Our Levels
Our leveled structure ensures every dancer trains where they’ll grow best. From beginners building foundations to advanced dancers refining technique, each level is designed to support progress, confidence, and readiness for the next stage.
Eaglets
Nurture your child’s creative spirit in this fun introduction to ballet. This class uses both upbeat and beautiful classical music, games, and the building blocks of classical ballet to inspire an appreciation for music and provide the fundamental gross motor skills needed for dance. Students sharpen social awareness, coordination, and musicality while learning introductory ballet steps. The Eaglet class performs in both the Nutcracker Suite and Spring Showcase. There is a $120 program fee added to cover costumes.
Level 1
Foster your child’s love of movement as they continue building essential dance skills. This stage focuses on foundational training in ballet and rhythm, welcoming dancers who are brand-new to dance or growing from our Eaglets program. While students may not yet have a wide range of dance knowledge, they are eager learners who listen well and follow direction as they develop confidence and coordination.
Level 2
This level helps dancers continue growing in strength, technique, and musicality as they build on their existing training. With at least 2–3 years of experience, students enter with a strong foundation and an understanding of proper placement and footwork for basic pirouettes, turns, and leaps. While they are still refining body alignment and control, dancers in this stage are ready to deepen their skills with focus, confidence, and joy.
Level 3
Preparing for advanced work. With at least four years of experience, these dancers bring a strong foundation and are ready to take on more complex choreography. Students continue exploring challenging variations of pirouettes, turns, and leaps or jumps, demonstrating an understanding of proper body placement. At this stage, dancers can execute most technical skills with strength and control as they refine precision, artistry, and confidence.
Level 4
Designed for experienced dancers eager to be challenged in their training and take on more complex choreography. Dancers are generally in Grades 5-8 and have at least 4+ years of experience. Dancers display an established and continuously growing awareness and understanding of proper body placement, body lines, and correct technical execution of skill.
Level 5
Designed for mature and experienced dancers ready for pre-professional/collegiate level training and choreography. Dancers are generally in Grades 9-12 and have at least 5+ years of experience. Dancers display a mastery of proper body placement, body lines, and correct technical execution of steps. Dancers display a sense of ownership and eager exploration towards personal artistry
